UW Collegium Musicum, with visiting scholar Linda Tsatsanis, present British music from the early 1200s in recognition of the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta.
The program includes British music from the early 1200s evoking royalty and liturgy, sorrow and triumph, including a newly created musical setting of a medieval poem relating the events leading to the sealing of the Magna Carta, performed by singers and medieval lute.
