Lauren Hepburn

Lauren is pursuing her Master's in Music Education at the University of Washington. She received her Bachelor's degree from Central Washington University where she studied with Larry Gookin, Mark Lane, and Joseph Brooks. After graduation, Lauren was hired by Seattle Public Schools and taught band and orchestra at Broadview-Thomson K-8 for two years and then orchestra and choir at Whitman Middle School for three. While teaching, she also maintained a busy schedule performing in semi-pro and professional bands around the area. Lauren plays clarinet with the Washington Wind Symphony, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, and the Seattle Rock Orchestra. She also gigs on saxophone playing funk and jazz around the city with various project groups.
