Katharyn Alvord Gerlich Theater

The School of Music uses the 1,206-seat Katharyn Alvord Gerlich Theater, known until recently as Meany Theater, as its main concert venue for large ensemble performances, full-scale opera productions, faculty recitals, and guest artist appearances. The School’s symphony, wind band ensembles, and large choral ensembles each present quarterly concerts at Gerlich Theater. The School’s percussion, studio jazz, and modern music ensembles also also present concerts on the Meany Center mainstage.
