Memorial and Musical Celebration for Toby Saks set for Oct. 14

A Memorial and Musical Celebration for longtime School of Music professor Toby Saks is set for Monday October 14, 2013 at 5 pm in the main concert hall at Benaroya Hall, 3rd Avenue between Union and University in downtown Seattle. The event is free and open to the public. More than 50 musicians will participate, including Toby's colleagues from the Seattle Chamber Music Society (SCMS) and the University of Washington, and her friends, family and students. SCMS Artistic Director James Ehnes and Maestro Gerard Schwarz are arranging and leading the program. Musicians who want to participate should contact Connie Cooper, Seattle Chamber Music Society (connie@seattlechambermusic.org) as soon as possible.
