Catalog Description:
Examines the nature of recorded sound, the science of hearing, and basic techniques for creating stereo recordings. Students frequently make recordings of sufficient quality for artistic work samples, professional auditions and applications, and research-level archival material. Course overlaps with: MUSTEC 200. Prerequisite: MUSIC 113 and MUSIC 119; recommended: current or past experience performing live music either in an ensemble or as a soloist. Offered: A.
