The Quartetto di Roma is the result of the chamber music and concert experiences of its members, united in their desire to carry on the prestigious tradition of the Italian quartet.
From its founding in 1995, the quartet has established itself as one of the most respected groups of the genre.
The ensemble schedules an intense concert calendar which brought it appreciation in Europe, in the Far East and above all in Germany, where it has performs several times a year, receiving an ever greater public success. It has been the guest of prestigious events such as the Festivals and it has recorded for RAI, Spanish National Radio, Bayerischer Rundfunk of Munich and Deutchland Radio.
In 2010 it celebrated 15 years of activity with two highly appreciated recitals at the Berlin Philharmonic and the Royal Palace of Madrid, performed on the four Stradivarius instruments owned by the Royal Museum..
The quartet is also dedicated to recording initiating a collaboration with the Bottega Discantica, Naxos and Brilliant Classics.
