Winter 2026 Quarter Notes

From the Director

This issue of Quarter Notes includes recent updates from our students, faculty, and alumni as well as some high notes for the entire School and individual members of our community. We revisit new UW President Robert J. Jones's inaugural address to the UW community last October, a celebration that prominently featured School of Music students and faculty. We learn more about the School of Music's recently added studio recording curriculum. And we congratulate School of Music students and faculty on their recent career and artistic achievements. As we wrap up Winter Quarter 2026, we are grateful for the ongoing interest and support of our friends and community members. Thank you for all that you do!
