Yang Lu

Yang Lu is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Cello Performance at the University of Washington. She has received her Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and her Bachelors degree from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Yang loves to traveling and performing. She had orchestral performances at Carnegie Hall and Strathmore. She has performed at the opening ceremonies for the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. During the Summer of 2014, Yang will go on tour with the Asian Youth Orchestra to a number of countries across Asia.
