In collaboration with the Northwest Folklife organization, the UW Ethnomusicology Archives offer a series of recordings in the Northwest Archives Recordings Series.
A collection of instrumental music from the Llanera plains region of Venezuela performed by Rafael Angel Aparicio, harp; Rafael de Jesus Aparicio, cuatro and maracas; and guest musicians. Includes 22 original and traditional tunes recorded in 1971 and 1996. “Recordando a Venezuela” was funded in part by the Lila Wallace — Reader’s Digest Fund.
