Take a lunchtime break at the Allen Library on Wednesday Jan. 23 when the UW Choral Conductors Cohort performs in the inaugural concert of a new Fourth Wednesdays Concert Series, presented by the School of Music in partnership with UW Libraries.
The new series serves a double purpose, says outreach director Katie Hollenbach, providing School of Music students with more campus performance opportunities while increasing the School of Music’s visibility to students and community members.
“We hope that by showcasing our amazing students in a frequented area of campus, more UW students will be inspired to get involved with the School of Music, whether they want to major in music or not,” she says. Music for the Feb. 27 installment is by the UW Guitar Ensemble.
