Tom Collier. Origin Classical Records, Cat. No. OC-33013

For this recording, Tom Collier has arranged works mostly composed for two violins, and has adapted them to marimba and vibraphone. Collier's first encounter with classical music for marimba occurred in the late 1950's when he learned from transcriptions of great violin music, some of the only published music available for mallet instruments at the time. This recording marks Collier's return to his earliest musical roots as a student. - See more at: http://originarts.com/c/recording.php?TitleID=33013#sthash.k5oFBPNA.dpuf
