Biography

Beau Wood is a string bassist based in Seattle.  Born by the Columbia river in 1995, Beau began playing double bass and bass guitar in 2005. He attends the University of Washington School of Music, where he has studied with Cuong Vu, Ted Poor, Steve Rodby, Marc Seales, Jordan Anderson, and Barry Lieberman.  Beau is currently a member of Attempted Arson,  the Waddlers, the UW Symphony Orchestra, the UW Wind Ensemble, and the UW Modern Band.  When he is not playing with these groups or composing for other projects, Beau practices audio engineering and production in his studio.
