David Solomon is an active percussion performer, educator and composer in Seattle, Washington.  He has performed in a diverse range of musical settings, including classical, jazz, contemporary, popular and various world styles.  David is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Percussion Performance at the University of Washington, where he studies with Tom Collier, Mike Crusoe, Cuong Vu and Steve Korn.  Since moving to Seattle in 2012, David has performed with a wide array of musical groups.  He has performed with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Collaborative Orchestra and the Saratoga Orchestra.  He has also played with several local Seattle bands including: The Lucy Horton Band, The Fraidies & Tofte.  David is active in recording session work and formed an electro-acoustic percussion duo, RE:Percussion Duo.
