Lisa has had a love of music and dance since she was a young girl. Lisa was born in Longview, WA and moved when she was 13 to Los Alamost, NM; she considers both places home. After high school she attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ for three years before transferring to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA; she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree in 2000. She married her college sweetheart and moved to southern CA. Lisa was a middle school band director for 5 years until her husband's job transferred them overseas to Naples, Italy. In Naples she was a general music teacher for grades K-6 for over 450 students at an American Dept. of Defense school. Her husband was transferred again to Annapolis, MD, and Lisa found employment as an elementary general/instrumental music teacher for 3 schools. Now living in WA, Lisa is attending University of Washington pursuing a Master's in Music Education and loving the new musical challenges provided by her classes.
